Dennis is hell of a Mr. Nice guy, accommodating me, being the photographer, and Demi herself, wanting me to make more photographs on her. He said and I quote, “As long as she’s happy… “. Demi is witty, and chatty, and I am all excited as she is very open to try different things! You both are just so nice to photograph.

We met up last Friday, for a quick Engagement / Lifestyle photography session around Putrajaya. I am going to bring couples to Putrajaya more for shoot as it is scenic and amazing. I find new location, new ways of shooting everytime I am there.

I probably cold feet myself, when somehow, I did not find my usual self warming up. Must be the anxiousness of wanting to photograph in the rain. It was raining heavily while on the way to Putrajaya, and I was well prepared. 2 huge umbrella, and a rain coat for myself. Only to reach the location, all bright, no sunny though, just didn’t rain.

These shots were after some time warming up. Lovely people.

Can you imagine if it was raining? Okay, soaking wet, discomfort in mind, but would you imagine what kind of photograph it would have been?!

Then again, you would think the make up will ruin. Ohhh, what the heck. It didn’t rain, it wouldn’t matter now.

I shouted, and I hope they heard me. “Eskimo kiss you 2!!! ” They did.. nose to nose… lovely

One very happy couple.

Came about when we were about to head off. All I wanted to do was find a place to park my car to walk towards the Putrajaya Wawasan Bridge, I came about being under the bridge with absolutely quite dark, and I said, perfect. I am gonna use my car headlamp as my main lightsource.

The imagery was just fantastic.

The shoot was done pretty much as we stroll along the streets. Being in the public, Jeff & Rachel appear to be super cool and super sporting. We played along with people around the streets, saying hie to them. I went all and about and tell them, they were getting married, ain’t she beautiful. What a fun time - at least I had.

We came about a strong wind tunnel area where shots like this was just perfect.

I really enjoyed the session. No doubt about it, it was tiring - which made me think, the couple would have been exhausted too. Thank you guys for being such a sport and I really hope you love the photographs taken!

Both Adam and Shikin engaged me as their wedding photographers more than a year ago. They had to. Both Adam and Shikin were not in the country til almost the same week of their wedding. I am bless with clients like this where they put in their absolutely trust in me for showing up at their wedding, doing what I do best. I thank them, and thank all my previous client.

This is a shot of “Telur Bunga” or Egg Flower, a malay gift which was presented to the guest upon leaving the reception.

These photos were taken a day after Hui & Wai Kee’s wedding ceremony. We walked about Batu Ferringi and the beaches and played around before Trashing the dress, mind you.. this time, just a little trashy.

This was one of the ironic client story to how we met. I was minding my own business way with another couple, trying to sell them my photography services, while Hui & Wai Kee took notice of my what I say “My pursuit of happyness bag” aka My Coffee Table Album. They saw the bag stating idealwedding.net and manage to find me on the internet later.

They contacted me and wanted me to shoot for their wedding over in Langkawi at first but later change of venue to Penang.

It was a pleasure meeting them both. Wai Kee was the cheeky bride, while Hui was just such a humble and a caring man. No wonder they say all good man are married.

Here are some of my favourites. More to come on the second part where we did a post wedding photography session the next day.

Fast forward 6 months later, here I was, spent 2 1/2 days weekend with 22 other great photographers and Louis and his team. It was what it was - the way I hope it would be. Meeting so many many brilliant photographer in this business, learning what we all have so much passion for.

The 2nd day shoot out where we drag our models for shoots everywhere. Let me tell you this, I must say all the models did a wonderful job. I can’t help but thinking how much pressure they were in having 23 big guns pointing at them, giving our monkey talks to make them kiss elegently , yada yada. This photo was not pose by me.

This was taken during my turn of directing the models. Oh gosh, I couldn’t even photograph people standing straight before this, and look at me now. Oh, I am so proud!

This was when louis took charge, same location, same model. Must have sprinkle some stardust to the models when suddenly they just fall in to this beautiful frame. I am so envy already! Argh…

Such a great outing, such great workshop. It has been a great weekend altogether. I am so looking forward for my next wedding shoot.

It’s been the blast gang. Thank you Louis for putting this together and your help in pushing us to be better. The rest of the gang, you’ve made the workshop so happening, we didn’t want to go off until the team at Click Magazine fell dead silence when Zach, Nigel and I stop yacking. We knew it was then time to go off! :).

We do our best :).

Really.

Speaking of faith. On another note, we apply a little bit of faith everyday’s life. How many times in a day that we make a decision base on the knowledge of merely knowing - What I mean. Simple. I personally have not met Robin and Lily when I pick up the job. I have not travel to Johor ever. This is my first. Obviously, we all know Johor is there, and the map leads us there. But really, I just know that I will reach there in a piece to cover the wedding, :).

Do I even make any sense! Hah…

Robin & Lily are made our stay in Johor a pleasant one. We had a good time shooting for them, though I do admit that the entire day workout was really really tiring one. We work it well, and we hope they love the photos the already received :).

You can really feel the joy from the expecting couple. All excited about the shoot. Regardless the pain hot sun that they needed to under.

It was Wei Ling’s suggestion to have the watermelon as part of the shoot. The guys had fun with it.

This is Emily & Chin Leong. Wei Ling’s brother :). I went through almost every pregnant couple in the family. Just too bad Wei Ling’s sister in law was not available.
